For its exceptional storytelling and compelling characters as well as for the ability to evoke emotions, convey a meaningful message, and leave a lasting impact, the Best Movie Award goes to LET THE DANCE BEGIN by Marina Seresesky.
2.The Best Actor Award to Dario Grandinetti for his role inLET THE DANCE BEGIN / EMPIEZA EL BAILE directed by Marina Seresesky.
Because of his complexity and admirably deep and rich interpretation, the best actor award goes to the Argentinian Dario Grandinetti for the role of Carlos in the film LET THE DANCE BEGIN.
3.The Best Actress Award to Sofie Gråbøl for her role in ROSE directed by Niels Arden Oplev.
Sofie Gråbøl delivers a breathtaking performance in ROSE as Inger, a complex character who undergoes a profound transformation over the course of the film. Her portrayal of Inger's struggles with mental health is both raw and deeply empathetic, allowing the audience to connect with her on a profound emotional level.
4.The Special Jury Award to SUNA directed by Cigdem Sezgin.
For a beautiful and emotionally engaging portrait of a very strong woman, who is stuck in the old power structures of rural society, the Special Jury Award goes to SUNA by Çiğdem Sezgin
