The world premiere, realized on 28 June 2016 on the stage of the Summer Theater in Varna, has a short but prestigious history: participation in the first Bulgarian music festival – Varna Summer and in the Stage of the Ages – the Tsarevets Fortress in Veliko Tarnovo, and in Hall 1 in the NPC.
Yves Dessca is an author of hits in the 1970s in the repertoire of Severine – Un banc, un arbre, une rue, which won the Eurovision Contest in 1971, Vicky Leandros – Apres Toi, which won the Eurovision Contest in 1972, Michel Sardou – La Maladie d’Amour,  Jacques Dutronc – Gentleman Camrioleur and others.  In the 1980s he was on the board of the American TV channel CBS. As a producer for the Italian television he supported the creation of the first event of The Three Tenors – Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras during the 1990 FIFA World Cup Final in Italy.
In the spectacle The Count of Monte Cristo, the singing and dancing arts are equally presented, combined with modern technological and scenographic solutions, using 3D mapping.  In this way the Chateau d’If is given life together with the dynamic enthralling story by Alexandre Dumas.
